Brentwood’s Student Leadership Team were invited to a special event honoring the youth in our community. The Community Character Coalition (CCC) of Elk Grove sponsored a youth recognition night in coordination with the Mayor and Village Trustees of Elk Grove Village. Area youth were honored at the Elk Grove Village Hall during the March 14, 2017 board meeting. Groups shared their activities with displays and booths set up at Village Hall for the hour preceding the Village Board meeting. During the Board meeting, youth participants were recognized with a certificate and a photo op with the Mayor. Accompanying Brentwood’s team were SLT sponsors Miss Deren and Miss Zimmerman. The event will be televised on Elk Grove cable TV.
